Come a few minutes early and say hello. Services run about an hour, and there’s no dress code — just come as you are.
Pastor Michael Royer.
Pastor Michael Royer and his wife Raquel have a son named Jonathan, born in 2023, and another child on the way. Michael moved to South Dakota to attend Dakota State University and, after graduating, felt God direct him to stay and reach South Dakota with the Gospel. Raquel is originally from Minnesota; after earning her bachelor’s degree at Texas Bible College, she felt the same instruction from the Lord.
In 2022, through Next Town Ministries, Bishop Mark Brown launched the Jesus Church of Brookings. Since then, Michael and Raquel have served under Bishop Brown and watched the Gospel of Jesus Christ transform lives in Brookings.
